Our Coastal Critter Pet Portal will require a credit card on file in order to request services. This will be prompted when you sign up. Service charges for each week (Monday to Sunday) are processed each Tuesday morning. You will receive an emailed invoice receipt at that time.
Absolutely! We want you to feel totally comfortable with the Team Member(s) chosen for your fur kids! After introducing you to our Team Member(s) assigned to your home, we coordinate the best time for everyone to meet. During the Meet & Greet, it is best to go over the pet’s routines and schedules, as well as access to the home. Please allow up to 1 hour for Meet & Greets.
Yes! But you will meet each one before they have access to your home. Since a majority of our Team has full-time jobs, family, kids, and/or pets of their own, we want to be sure you have the coverage needed for your family. This helps in those unforeseen circumstances of car troubles, schedule conflicts, sick days, or any of life’s curveballs.
When you are a brand new client to Coastal Critters or have not received an activation email for our Pet Portal. This is the best (and quickest) way to reach our Team with all the essential information regarding the service requested; and therefore, we assign the best fitting Team Member for your home. You will also receive a confirmation email of your request for your record.
We do! We have provided care to: dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, turtles, guinea pigs, parrots, rats, chameleons, mules, horses, geckos, hedgehogs, pigs, chinchillas & fish. As long as you are willing to show us how to take care of your pet in the best way, we are always open to learning!
Nope! All these services are included. Please feel free to let us know how we can help keep up with your home.
You will receive emails after each service is completed. Within that email, you may add a tip (up to 48 hours after the visit). If you miss that window – we can add the tip to your invoice prior to payment. Cash tips may always be left for the Team Member.
We want you to be updated in real time, and the Scout app allows just that. You will receive notifications when the Team Member arrives to your home and again when they have left your home. This will include pictures, notes and even a report card for each pet. Due to excitement, we do get a little crazy with photos, so be ready!
