We recommend booking 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for holidays or peak travel seasons. Last-minute requests are welcome when a Team Member is available.

For many pets, yes. In-home care keeps your pet in their normal routine, reduces stress, and avoids exposure to illness or overstimulation that can happen in boarding facilities.

We handle feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, litter scooping, medication, playtime, cuddles, home checks, and lots of photos. We tailor every visit to your pet’s routine.

No. As long as we have access through a lockbox, key, or door code, you do not need to be home.

👋 MEET & GREET, TEAM MEMBERS, SAFETY

Yes! All new clients receive a Meet & Greet with their assigned Team Member to review pet routines, home access, medications, schedules, and preferences. Meet & Greets typically take up to one hour.

To guarantee consistent, reliable coverage. If one Team Member is unavailable due to sickness, travel, or emergencies, another sitter can step in. You will always meet each sitter before they ever enter your home.

Yes. Coastal Critter Pet Care is fully insured, and every Team Member is background-checked, vetted, and trained for safety and professionalism.

Scooping Service Faqs

🧼 SERVICE BASICS

Our poop scooping service includes a full walk-through of your yard, pet waste removal from all accessible areas, and disposal of waste in your outdoor trash can. We double-check the yard for any missed spots, secure gates before leaving, and provide a visit update so you always know your yard is clean.

Yes! It keeps your yard clean, reduces odor, prevents bacteria buildup, and protects your pets from parasites. Most families say it's one of the best time-saving services they’ve added to their home routine. It’s one of the easiest home-maintenance tasks to outsource — and one of the highest-impact.

Weekly is the most popular option.
Biweekly works well for single-dog homes or low-waste yards.
Twice-weekly is ideal for multi-dog families who want a consistently clean yard.

Nope! As long as we have gate access, we handle everything and send you a confirmation after each visit.

We currently provide poop scooping services exclusively in Ormond Beach, FL as we focus on a high-quality slow launch. By keeping our service area small, we can offer fast scheduling, consistent routes, and the highest level of care for our clients.

✨ ADD-ONS & EXTRA YARD CARE

Yes! Our pet-safe deodorizing and sanitizing spray reduces smells, bacteria, and germs. It’s a great add-on for families and high-traffic dog yards.

Absolutely — our deodorizing and sanitizing products are non-toxic, eco-friendly, and formulated specifically for use in dog-safe yards. Pets and children can return to the yard as soon as the product dries.

Deodorizing and sanitizing help neutralize odor at the source and reduce bacteria commonly found in pet waste. These treatments are especially helpful for:

  • Multi-dog homes

  • Smaller yards where odors linger

  • Homes with children who play outside

  • Florida heat, which can intensify smells

Adding these services keeps your outdoor space smelling fresh and creates a cleaner, healthier environment for your pets and family.

🗓 INITIAL CLEANUPS & FIRST VISITS

Yes — your initial cleanup is FREE when you sign up for weekly or biweekly monthly poop scooping service. This helps you start with a fresh, clean yard at no extra cost.

A small one-time fee only applies if your yard has heavy buildup (multiple weeks or months without cleaning) or if you are not joining a subscription.

No problem! We specialize in first-time cleanups. If you’re signing up for recurring service, your initial cleanup is free as long as the yard has only light to moderate buildup.

If the yard has excessive waste (for example, several months without cleaning), a one-time heavy cleanup fee may apply. You’ll be informed of this before we begin.

Initial cleanups are free for all new subscription clients unless the yard has heavy accumulation.
For one-time or non-recurring clients, the initial cleanup fee is based on:

  • Number of dogs

  • Yard size

  • How long it’s been since your last cleanup

  • Waste buildup level

You will always receive upfront pricing.
